This morning 15 veterans attended breakfast with the Milton School 5th graders. The program was organized by fifth grade teacher Tom Bailey. We sang the national anthem and recited the pledge of allegiance. Then each veteran sat at a table with group of students and had conversation with them discussing their military experience. The students were very inquisitive. Coffee, cider, and donuts were served. It was a very positive morning.
