Rye, NY American Legion Post 128

Commander Fred de Barros and Finance Officer/Adjutant Tim Moynihan of Rye American Legion Post 128 presented a $2,500 check to Rye Recreation Superintendent Erin Mantz for summer camp scholarships. Commander de Barros noted that these donations support both the community and veterans, reflecting the principles of the American Legion.

Nearly all these funds were generated through Rye Post 128 Legionnaire Terry McCartney’s Memorial Day golf fund raiser.   Terry says,” I organize a golf fundraiser each year on Memorial Day at Rye Golf Club.  We are proud the Post is using the funds for veterans and the Rye community.”
