The rain held off for the 2017 Rye Memorial Day parade organized by the Post Auxiliary. Thanks to Robin Latimer and all for making the parade a grand success. The ceremony was held indoors at the Rye City Council Chamber. The keynote was delivered by our own Post member Martin Dockery who recount his experiences in Vietnam as a 2nd lieutenant. Former Post commander Tom Saunders received the Americanism award.
